My stay at this motel had its ups and downs. The view was lovely, and the rooms were clean, but the service and breakfast left much to be desired. It feels like the owner is cutting corners, which unfortunately detracts from the overall experience. The aging facilities and outdated rooms require some serious attention to justify the prices.

The Driftwood has a stunning location right by the lake, offering incredible views of passing freighters. However, the overall condition of the hotel leaves much to be desired, with dated rooms and facilities that feel quite run down. While I had a decent experience, the lack of updates and maintenance made it hard to justify the price. The service experience was okay, but I hope for better the next time around.

The rooms are basic and show signs of wear, especially the bathrooms, with some cleanliness issues that could use attention. The breakfast experience leaves much to be desired, as the space is cramped and the options are lacking. However, the comfortable beds and picturesque surroundings might make up for the downsides if you're looking for a simple stay.
